Will this work for concealed carry?

Yes. The kit keeps the factory sear and trigger return springs, so the pull weight stays in the 4.5–5.5 lb range — safe for carry while still being much crisper than stock. If you want a lighter competition pull, you can swap in the included reduced-power springs (that’ll drop it to around 3.5–4 lbs).

Do I need to replace my trigger return spring?

No. The kit is designed to work with the factory trigger return spring. That’s actually a plus — it keeps the reset positive and reliable. Some shooters do swap it for the included reduced-power spring, but we recommend starting with the factory one and seeing how it feels.

Is there a lot of take-up before the wall?

Much less than stock. The Forward Set design moves the shoe forward, so the slack is reduced right from the start. You’ll feel a short, smooth take-up, then a distinct wall — then a clean break with almost no over-travel. Reset is short and tactile.
