This magazine base pad extension gives you room for two and a half extra rounds. That “half” isn’t a typo: the extra space lets you load two additional cartridges and still leaves enough spring compression to seat a full magazine with the slide locked back. No more struggling to get that last round in when you need it most.

Will this work with my FNX 45 Tactical?

Yes—same magazine, same frame. Fits the standard FNX 45, the Tactical model, and the FNX 45 with the threaded barrel. Just make sure you’ve got the full-size magazine, not a compact or 10-round restricted version.

Does this require a new magazine spring?

It comes with an extra-power spring included in the package. You swap out the factory spring during installation. The new spring is what helps the slide lock back reliably when the magazine is empty.

Why can’t I buy this in California, Oregon, Rhode Island, or Washington?

State laws in those states restrict magazine capacity-enhancing parts. We follow the law, so we don’t ship this product to those states. If you’re outside those areas, you’re good to go.
