If you’ve got a Sig Sauer P320 RX (the Classic version with the Romeo 1 cut) and you’ve upgraded to a Romeo 1 Pro red dot, you’ve probably noticed the footprint doesn’t quite match up. This steel mount from the kit solves that exact headache. It lets you securely fit your Romeo 1 Pro to that original Romeo 1 slide cut without any extra machining or adapter plates that add height. The result is a low, solid mount that keeps your optic right where it should be, shot after shot.
Will this fit my gun?
- Sig Sauer P320 RX (Classic version) — factory slide cut for Romeo 1
- Other P320 slides cut specifically for the Romeo 1 direct-mount footprint
- Works with or without the factory steel shroud on the Romeo 1 Pro
- Does not fit standard P320 slides without the Romeo 1 cut
Key features
- Machined from billet steel — strong enough to handle daily range use and competition
- Black oxide finish — resists corrosion and keeps a low-profile look on your slide
- Raised recoil lugs — lock the optic in place and help prevent shifting under recoil
- Rear notch co-witness — the Romeo 1 Pro’s rear notch lines up with a .400″ tall front sight (sold separately), giving you a backup sight picture
Install difficulty: 2 out of 5
This is a straightforward swap. You’ll need a Torx driver (usually T10 or T15 depending on your optic screws) and a little thread locker (blue Loctite is fine). If you’ve ever swapped an optic or mount before, you can handle this in about 10 minutes. No gunsmithing required. We’ve got a quick install video on the product page if you want to see the steps before you start.
Frequently asked questions
Will this mount work with a Romeo 1 (not Pro)?
No — this mount is specifically designed to adapt the Romeo 1 Pro to a Romeo 1 cut slide. If you’re running a standard Romeo 1, you don’t need this mount.
Do I need to remove the factory shroud from my Romeo 1 Pro?
Not at all. The mount is designed to work with or without the steel shroud. If you prefer the extra protection, leave it on. If you want a lower profile, take it off. Either way, the mount fits.
What front sight do I need for the co-witness?
You’ll want a .400″ tall front sight (not included). That will line up with the rear notch on the Romeo 1 Pro. Check with your favorite sight maker — just make sure it’s for the P320 dovetail.
