It’s a “partially stripped” slide, meaning you’ll transfer your existing internals (striker, extractor, barrel, recoil spring) over from your original slide. This is a great option if you want a tougher slide with better optic mounting that still uses your factory parts.

You’ll need a punch set, small hammer, and a non-marring surface. If you’ve swapped a striker or extractor before, you can handle this. If not, we recommend watching our install video or having a local gunsmith do it. Tools required: punch set, small hammer, and a roll pin starter.

Do I need to buy new internals?
Not necessarily. This is a partially stripped slide, so you can transfer your striker assembly, striker block & spring, extractor & plunger assembly, slide back plate, barrel, and recoil assembly from your original slide. If you want a second complete slide, you can buy those parts separately.
What optics fit without a plate?
Holosun K-series optics (407K, 507K, EPS, EPS Carry) mount directly using the included screws. Shield Arms RMSC optics also fit, but you’ll need to use the screws that came with the optic. No adapter plate required.
