Install Difficulty

Difficulty: 2 out of 5 – This is a simple swap. You’ll need a Glock trigger housing pin punch (or a 1/16″ roll pin punch) and a small hammer. We have a walkthrough video on our install page that shows the whole process in under 10 minutes. If you can field-strip your Glock, you can do this.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work with my Gen 5 Glock?

No, this trigger is designed for Gen 3 and Gen 4 frames only. The Gen 5 has a different trigger housing and trigger bar geometry. We carry a separate kit for Gen 5—just check the product page for that model.

Do I need to change the connector or springs?

Nope. This trigger is a direct replacement for the factory trigger shoe and bar. It works with your stock connector, trigger spring, and firing pin safety. If you want a lighter pull later, you can swap springs, but it’s not required.

Will this reduce the trigger pull weight?

This trigger doesn’t change the pull weight on its own—it smooths the pull and shortens the reset. If you’re looking for a lighter pull, you can pair it with a 3.5 lb or 4.5 lb connector and a reduced-power trigger spring. We’ve got those in the shop too.
