Frequently asked questions

Will this work with my factory recoil spring?

Yes. This barrel is the same outer diameter and profile as the factory barrel, so your stock recoil spring and guide rod will work just fine. No need to buy a heavier spring unless you’re adding a compensator that changes the cycling.

Do I need to file or fit anything?

Nope. That’s the whole point of “direct drop-in.” The barrel is machined to factory specs, so it slides right into the slide and locks up with the barrel lug. If it doesn’t drop in easily, stop and check for burrs or debris—don’t force it.

Can I use this with a compensator?

Absolutely. The ½-28 threads are standard for most 9mm compensators. Just be sure to use thread-locker (medium strength) and check your clearance between the comp and the slide. The ~.680” of exposed thread gives you plenty of room to stack shims or a crush washer.
