If you’ve ever fumbled for the mag release under pressure—or found yourself shifting your grip to drop a magazine on your Hellcat or Hellcat Pro—this extended mag release is the simple fix you’ve been looking for. It replaces the factory button with a slightly longer, serrated face that sits .065” further out, giving your thumb a more positive purchase without adding bulk. The result: cleaner, faster mag changes without changing your hold. It’s a direct drop-in swap, so you won’t need to modify the frame or send the gun off to a shop.
Compatibility
- Springfield Hellcat (all generations)

FAQ
Will this fit my holster?
It depends on your holster’s design. The extended button is only .065” longer than factory, but some tight-molded kydex holsters may rub against it. We recommend checking fit before carrying: insert the gun, then see if the release moves freely or gets pushed in. If it feels snug, you may need a holster with an open mag-release channel.
Is it reversible for left-handed shooters?
Yes. The mag release can be swapped to the right side (for left-hand actuation) without any extra parts. The process is the same as the factory swap—just push out the spring retainer, flip the button, and reinstall.
Do I need to replace the spring too?
No. The kit includes a spare spring, but the factory spring works fine with the extended button. The spare is handy to have in your range bag or to keep the original release assembled as a backup.
