Install Difficulty

FAQ

Will this work on my aftermarket slide that’s cut for an ACRO?

Yes, as long as the slide or mounting plate is machined within the standard ACRO footprint tolerances set by Aimpoint. If your slide manufacturer says “ACRO cut,” this clamp should fit. If you’re unsure, drop us a line with your setup and we’ll help you out.

Do I need to modify the optic or mount to use this clamp?

Nope. It’s a direct replacement for the factory clamp that comes with the MPS. Just remove the original, put the Super Clamp in its place, and torque the screw to spec. No filing, no shimming, no fuss.

Is this clamp as strong as the factory one?

Stronger. The Super Clamp is machined from steel, while the factory clamp is made from softer material. The black oxide finish also resists rust better than the factory finish. It’s a simple upgrade that gives you more mounting options and a more secure hold.
