If you’ve ever tried to swap a trigger or detail strip a polymer-frame pistol while holding it in one hand and poking at it with a punch in the other, you know the struggle. This Armorer’s Block solves that problem by giving you a stable, non-marring work surface that holds your frame exactly where you need it. No more chasing springs across the bench or worrying about scratching your finish. It’s built for the guy who works on his own guns at the kitchen table, just as much as the pro at the shop counter.
Will this fit my gun?
This block is designed to work with the most common striker-fired frames. It supports:
- Glock® 9mm, .40 S&W, .357 SIG models (including Gen3, Gen4, and Gen5 frames)
- Glock® .45 ACP models (including G21, G30, G36)
- Smith & Wesson M&P polymer frames (full-size, compact, and Shield models)
Note: The block has dedicated striker channels — one side for 9/40/357, and the other for 45 ACP. Just flip it around to match your caliber.
Key features
- Adjustable positioning bosses — slide them to match your frame’s pin locations, so nothing shifts while you work
- Stress-relief cutouts — slots and holes let you drive pins out without putting pressure on sear surfaces or trigger housings
- Thumb safety & magazine disconnect slots — drop those small parts into the block to keep them safe from bending or loss
- Raised trigger-bar walls — hold the trigger bar in proper alignment while you install a new trigger, so you’re not fighting it
- High-density polymer — tough enough for repeated use, but soft enough to keep your frame’s finish looking new
- Logo and contact info molded in — easy to spot if you ever need to re-order or call with a question
Install difficulty
Difficulty: 1 out of 5 — This is a tool, not a part. Unbox it and set it on your bench. No tools needed to use it, though you’ll want a set of punches and a small hammer to actually work on your pistol.
Frequently asked questions
Does this work with a Glock 19 Gen5?
Yes, it does. The adjustable bosses let you set the block up for Gen5 frames just as easily as Gen3 or Gen4. The striker channel for 9/40/357 is the correct side for your G19.
Can I use this with a Shield Plus or an M&P 2.0?
It works with most M&P polymer frames, including the Shield and Shield Plus. The thumb safety slot on the block is especially handy if you’re working on a model with that feature. If you’re unsure about your specific model, give us a call — we’ll confirm.
Do I need the Armorer’s Tray too?
This block works great on its own, but it does have cutouts that align with the Apex Armorer’s Tray if you want a complete bench setup. The tray catches dropped springs and pins; the block holds the frame. Together they make a solid workstation, but you don’t need both to get good results.
We ship this block out fast from our shop — usually same or next business day. It’s backed by the manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. If you have any questions about fit or use, just reach out. We’re shooters, not a call center.
