Action Enhancement Kit for CZ Shadow 2

It replaces the factory hammer and sear with matched components that give you a clean, consistent single-action-style break, while also making the double-action stroke much smoother and stack-free. No polishing, no stoning, no guesswork — just a direct drop-in that evens things out to roughly a 2-pound difference between DA and SA.

Easy for anyone who’s done a trigger job before. You’ll need a punch set, small hammer, and a bench block. The sear and hammer pins can be a little tight on some guns — a starter punch helps. Will this work with my Shadow 2 that has a manual safety?

Yes. This kit is designed for standard Shadow 2 models with a manual safety. It does not affect the safety function.

Can I use this with a lighter recoil spring?

We recommend sticking with the factory recoil spring weight. The kit is tuned around the factory slide mass and spring rate. Changing the recoil spring can affect reliability and may cause light primer strikes with certain ammunition.

Do I need to change the mainspring to get the lighter pull weights?

Both mainsprings are included. The Carry Mainspring gives you roughly 6 lb. DA / 4 lb. SA. Swap to the Competition Mainspring for about 5 lb. DA / 3.5 lb. SA. No other parts needed.
