Install difficulty
3 out of 5 – intermediate. You’ll need a 3/32” punch, a hammer, and a small flathead screwdriver for the sear lever spring. Watch the install video on our product page—it walks you through the sear lever alignment step by step. Plan on about 45 minutes if you’ve done trigger work before, or an hour if it’s your first Hi-Power job.

Will this work with my SA-35 that still has the magazine safety?
Yes, but you’ll need to remove the magazine disconnect from the trigger bar before installing the kit. It’s a simple step—just drive out the pin and lift the disconnect out. The install video shows exactly how.
Do I need to do any polishing or fitting?
No. The sear and hammer are matched from the factory, so you won’t need to stone, file, or polish anything. Just drop the parts in and check function with snap caps before live fire.
Will the Tank Tread hammer still let me use the factory safety?
Yes. The hammer spur sits low enough to clear the thumb safety on both the SA-35 and the Browning Hi-Power, so your safety will engage and disengage normally.
