If you’ve got an SA-35 or a classic Browning Hi-Power, you know the factory trigger can feel a bit narrow and a little mushy at the end of the pull. This wide flat trigger replaces that stock piece with a machined steel unit that gives you a broader, flatter face — 0.31” wide compared to the factory 0.25”. That extra width spreads the pressure across your finger, so long range sessions are more comfortable, and the flat face lets you place your finger lower on the trigger for better leverage through the pivot. It also includes an integrated over-travel pad that stops that annoying trigger over-run you get when the slide cycles. No more wondering if the trigger will reset cleanly.

Install difficulty: 2 out of 5
Pretty straightforward if you’ve done a trigger swap before. You’ll need a punch set (we recommend our Trigger Pin Removal Punch, PN 115-351) and a small hammer. Plan on about 15–20 minutes. Watch our install video on the product page to see exactly how it goes in.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to modify anything to make this trigger work?
On most SA-35 and BHP frames, it drops right in. A small number of pistols may need a little trimming on the over-travel pad because of tolerance differences in the slide or frame. If you run into that, just file or sand the pad lightly until the trigger resets cleanly. It’s simple and only takes a minute.
Does this trigger reduce over-travel?
Yes — that’s the main job of the integrated over-travel pad. It stops the trigger from continuing rearward after the sear breaks, which cleans up the feel and prevents that sloppy over-run you get with the factory trigger.
Will this work with my aftermarket hammer or sear?
It should, as long as the hammer and sear are standard BHP/SA-35 geometry. If you’ve swapped in a different trigger system, give us a call or shoot us an email and we can check your setup.
