You’ll need a punch set (1/16″ and 1/8″), a small hammer or mallet, and about 15 minutes. Watch our install video linked on the product page — the trick is supporting the frame so the spring doesn’t launch. If you’ve detail-stripped a CZ before, this is a breeze. FAQ

Will this work with my holster?

The Tactical length usually clears most holsters without issue. The Competition length is taller, so you may need to check clearance — especially with kydex holsters that mold tight around the factory release. A little heat-gun work on kydex usually solves it.

Does it use the factory spring?

Yes, this release uses your original spring and detent. The kit includes the button only. We recommend keeping your factory spring unless it’s worn or damaged.

Is the button reversible for left-handed shooters?

Yes. The P-10 C’s ambidextrous design is retained. The extended button mounts on the same side as the factory release and works with the existing cross-bar setup. Lefties get the same reach improvement.
