Most kits in this category are drop-in — factory strip + sear-trigger swap + reassembly. Kits requiring Forward-Set sear work (advanced) are labeled on the product page.
Do I need a gunsmith?
No for drop-in kits. Yes for Flat-Faced Forward-Set sear kits (rated 4/5 install difficulty). Each product page lists its difficulty rating.
Will this void my warranty?
It depends on your manufacturer. Most factory warranties are not voided by installing non-permanent aftermarket parts, but check your manufacturer policy.
How much pull reduction should I expect?
Typical reduction is 1.5-2.5 lb from factory (e.g. 6.5 lb → 4.5 lb). Exact values are on each product page.
