FAQ

Will this affect my pistol’s function or safety?

No. The loaded chamber indicator is a visual-only feature—it does not affect firing, feeding, or ejection. Replacing it with this steel block simply removes the visual flag. The pistol will operate exactly as it did before, just without the snag-prone pop-up.

Is this legal in my state?

This block is designed for shooters in states that require an LCI but who want a more practical, holster-friendly slide. Check your local laws—some states mandate the visual indicator remain functional. We recommend consulting your local firearms authority if you’re unsure.

Will it fit my Shield Plus with the newer slide?

The Shield Plus originally shipped with the same LCI cutout as the Shield 1.0/2.0. If your slide has the rectangular notch on top, this block will fit. If you have a later-production Shield Plus with a solid slide (no LCI cutout at all), this isn’t needed.
